Adam Hornby is a cinematographer with experience in commercial and narrative work, developing his passion for filmmaking within the GTA and Ottawa.
From a young age, Adam was a visual learner and used imagery to express himself when words could not. From there his love for photography transitioned into his passion for filmmaking. After graduating from Humber College with his Degree in Film and Media Production, Adam has certified his craft backing himself with a plethora of work with being the Director of Photography on seven short films, as well as directing one and filming a documentary.
Additionally, Adam has a variety of contract work experience that includes filming two other documentaries, one being about a CFL player being inducted into the hall of fame called Pitts’s Family Story (2019) and another filming for Canadian Olympian Sarah Well’s Believe Initiative campaign.
As a young cinematographer based in Canada, Adam is always looking forward to his next project collaborating with like-minded people to help share their vision with the power of imagery.
